With electrical connectors, you generally specify the load in VA on the connector or through a family parameter. What if you instead want to specify the current in Amps, and have it determine the load per phase? With the assumption that the load is always three phase, this video demonstrates the process.
In my next post, I will demonstrate how to make this a bit more flexible by providing separate types for different voltage and phase scenarios.

Rather then creating separate types, it would be nice to demonstrate in the next part how to get Phase working with if then statement or better yet lookup tables, since thats really makes for the best flexibility and limits having huge type catalogs. Seems the developers didn't make Phase friendly with those two scenarios, but i would love to be proven wrong so our electrical group can stop going crazy trying to make it work. (ie. when HP finally reaches >1/2 changes to 3phase should be auto)
