Have you wanted to learn more about how 3rd party applications should be able to integrate into Autodesk products in such a way that they are indistinguishable from feature built into the product?
Well, check this out. Emile Kfouri is the author of BIM Apps, a new blog devoted to the API applications for Autodesk’s BIM tools. The new blog is starting a 2 month trial period during which he’ll ‘test the waters’ and determine whether or not the BIM community would value a blog that’s devoted to the many API based applications available for Autodesk BIM software products and related topics. Blog traffic will be used as the primary indicator of longer term success. Emile has also constructed a survey to help better understand his potential audience.
The first featured technology is a Revit add-in from Eagle Point Software. For more information check-out his first post.
You can help Emile in one of two ways:
- Promote Emile’s blogging effort: introduce Emile and BIM Apps to your readers OR add BIM Apps to your blog roll – be sure to encourage readers to take the 5 question survey
- Recommend a BIM App to Emile for future focus
Thank you in advance for your support.
