Thanks for the link to Adaptive Components for MEP, but the need for that tool or knowledge would only arise every 17 years, (like a cicada), and the software would have evolved 17 times in the interim, so the knowledge imparted in the article will have become obsolete.

What we REALLY need in Reveit MEP is a "3-D mechanical massing" tool, so that we can lay out zones for disciplines early in the project. This will help to avoid clashes between disciplines, and speed our design process. Do you have any articles on such a tool?
