In the July issue of AUGIWorld, Alan Jackson and Mark Green, teamed up to write “Revit Adaptive Component for MEP”. Highlighting the Adaptive Components feature in Revit MEP. The article discusses various scenarios and workflows in making the most out of this Revit feature. If you’re looking to update your MEP workflows, give this article a go!
Thanks for the link to Adaptive Components for MEP, but the need for that tool or knowledge would only arise every 17 years, (like a cicada), and the software would have evolved 17 times in the interim, so the knowledge imparted in the article will have become obsolete.
What we REALLY need in Reveit MEP is a "3-D mechanical massing" tool, so that we can lay out zones for disciplines early in the project. This will help to avoid clashes between disciplines, and speed our design process. Do you have any articles on such a tool?
Thanks again
